Our Management Team.
fetch energy's management team has been actively engaged in the evolution of Australia's National Electricity Market since its infancy, with experience across a wide range of roles, projects and services, including:
- General Management roles across corporate portfolios spanning energy trading, market analytics, regulatory affairs, retail strategy, business planning, risk management, business development and stakeholder engagement.
- Management roles in business development and sales in public and private businesses, including in some of Australia’s largest electricity retailers.
- Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) Responsible Manager and AFSL Compliance Committee Chair in a major electricity retailer.
- Extensive experience in provision of energy consulting and energy broking services.
- Considerable record of successfully developing and implementing structured purchasing strategies for large electricity users from both the retailer and customer sides.
- Extensive experience in energy product development and deployment, including the utilisation of emerging technologies.
- Provision of strategic policy advice and electricity pricing advice to the Queensland government.
- Negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and the evaluation of PPA-based procurement strategies for large energy users, including financial analysis of PPAs and associated firming instruments.
- Design, implementation and management of regulatory compliance frameworks for retail and generation participants.
- Experience delivering successful applications for renewable energy generator authorisations and generator registrations.
- Management of environmental instrument positions for clean energy products.
- National Energy Customer Framework (NECF) Readiness Project Business Sponsor to design and implement a regulatory compliance and reporting framework in a major retailer to meet the obligations imposed by the introduction of NECF in Queensland in 2015.
- Full Retail Contestability Project to achieve business readiness for the introduction of retail competition in the South East Queensland electricity market in 2007.
- Complimenting their electricity industry experience, the team has over 10 years’ experience in the mining and mineral processing sector, including management of an international equipment manufacturing centre.
